This past weekend we went to a live nativity put on by our church. It was outdoors and pretty neat–they even had live animals! Since it was well attended, there weren’t many seats available. In order for the girls to get a good view, they sat up front. Standing in the back, I could see Roxie in her seat. She barely moved the whole time. After hot chocolate and cookies, we piled in the car. As we were leaving I asked Roxie if she liked it. Here is what she said:
“I was crying because I like-ed it SO BAD! I cried ice cubes!”
One of her most favorite songs in the world is Silent Night and it was played a few times during the live nativity presentation. She was a happy kid. As a parent, these are the sweet moments that make it all worth it.

It was cold outside… didn’t know you could cry ice cubes!
Silent Night is one of my favorites too. That’s cute of her.
