A couple of nights ago I lay in bed thinking. In the near future, we will be going to a bbq in the mid-afternoon. Since this is an odd time to eat a meal–after lunch, but before dinner. Here’s my thoughts on that:
“Hmmm. Why do we have a name for the meal between breakfast and lunch, but not between lunch and dinner? Breakfast + Lunch = Brunch, why not Lunch + Dinner = Lunner?”
Feel free to spread the word like wildfire.
UPDATE: After googling it, I realized it does indeed exist. Why don’t more people use the term lunner?
