Our Alice July 27, 2011

Nearly a month has gone by since Alice turned 7.  I didn’t want any more time to go by without doing a post for our first born–especially since another family member is having a birthday tomorrow!  I would’ve liked to do a little photo comparison of the first day of school vs. the last day of school, but we had some serious data loss this year (boo for that!).  Here is a photo of her on the last day of school last and this year instead.

Alice had an amazing year.  She loves learning, socializing, entertaining/performing, trying new things, and “mothering” her siblings.  Here are some of the highlights:

(Hovering over Oliver)

(Reading to Ollie)

(Uncle Brad–her wrestling buddy)

(Constantly making her brother sit with her–sometimes he likes it)

(Little Orphan Alice–danced in a broadway-like performance of “Hard Knock Life”.  She did awesome!)

(Alice found my old balloon animals book and took an interest)

(After her big tap/ballet performance–she did great!)

(Visiting the traveling Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall)

(Birthday girl)

We are so proud of Alice and are grateful to have her in our lives!  It is hard to believe that she has been a part of our family for 7 years already.  How did that go by so quickly?  It makes me panic a little…
